Kr Whitening is a safe, effective system that utilizes both home whitening trays and in-office whiteningprocedures. The procedure consists of two in-office whitening sessions, typically one to two weeks apart, and take home whitening trays, which will be used before, during and after the in-office sessions. The whitening trays may also be used for periodic home whitening maintenance in the future.
The in-office whitening procedure consists of two, one-hour appointments, where the Kr gel is applied to the teeth. This procedure utilizes NO ultraviolet lights or lasers, only a protective gum barrier and peroxide based gel. During these visits, you should not experience any pain or discomfort. After completion, the teeth will be dramatically whiter, while maintaining their natural appearance. It is important to remember that crowns, veneers, and fillings do not whiten. If you have any of these on your front teeth, this may need to be addressed prior to whitening.
